5 Simple Tips to Get Healthier Now

Spring into spring with these healthy lifestyle changes:

  1. Do not skip breakfast - You have probably heard this before, but breakfast truly is the most important meal of the day, and skipping it can slow your metabolism right down. For ideas on my top breakfast picks, click here.
  2. Wake up 5-10 minutes early and stretch - Aim to eat greens with every meal! Throw kale into smoothies, have green salads, roast greens at dinner and add some chlorella or chlorophyll to your water
  3. Keep a journal - Reduce white, refined sugars in your diet and swap for natural sources like coconut sugar, honey or maple syrup.
  4. Go cold - Read your labels and listed ingredients - if you canÂ’t read it, ditch it!
  5. Lighten up your dinner - Add flax seeds, fiber buds, and nuts and seeds to help fill you up, keep you full and stabilize blood sugar levels throughout the day.
